I will be attending the pacific life open this year. A last minute decision has left me with little time to shop for accommodations. Can anyone recommend a good place to stay? Or, just as useful, anyone tell me where NOT to stay if they have had a bad experience at Indian Wells?

The Westin. Not only do they have awesome cts that are always available but you get a free shuttle to and from the tourney.

At this point, it will be a bit difficult to find a good room at a decent price. Depending on your budget, there are choices. The Holiday Inn Express in Palm Desert is a good value, just spent $3 million remodeling their rooms, and has shuttles to the tournament. A lot of the press stays there. The Westin, Esmerelda or Hyatt Grand Champions are all first class but over $250 per night. They also have shuttle service. For real affordable rooms, you might want to check in Indio. Good luck, Don/Tennis Warehouse
