Default Pro One vs Prestige

A couple questions about these two rackets.

Which one do you consider overall the best? (I know, I know, it's my decision ultimately)

Better spin?

Pop?

Swingweight (easiest to swing)

5 votes, but no replies. I hope the voters have actually played with these sticks.

Which one is easier to swing? I would think it would be the Fischer because the swingweight is smaller.

Different stats for each. You much playtest them to make sure. The Pro #1 (red/black) is 9pts head light, has 311 sw and has a flex of 60 compared to the 7pts hl, 322 sw and 65 flex of the FXP Prestige MP (I'm assuming you mean the MP). I think the Pro #1 has better spin potential due to the string pattern.

My vote goes to the Pro #1 and if you can get the older Pro #1 with the ceramic layup that plays even better than the current Pro #1.

I voted and I never hit with either... these kind of polls are so useless honestly, what good does it do to know what other people who probably never hit with the racquets think? and even if we have hit with ONE or... maybe BOTH? what we like makes no difference to you.

both are similar racquets.

the one KEY spec you guys forgot to mention is the string pattern. I hit with a 18x20 pattern for the first time a few weeks ago and BOY was it different. much less powerful and more control and a completely different feel on the strings. so that might be a factor for you... there

I agree. Which has the edge in power? The Prestige because it's a tad stiffer or the Pro One because it has an open pattern?

Power (USRSA index):

Fischer Pro No. One - 1932
Head Flexpoint Prestige MP - 2037

fxp has the power edge

(btw, go to tennis.com and racket finder under the 'gear' section)

ehh I do not find those power ratings to be true. Best way to see for yourself is to demo them.

i would have to agree with you on that, but in terms of specs, i guess thats what DK was asking (haha, DK... ).

i find my redondo mp has much more power than my ps tour 90, and its power rating is in the 1700's, while the ps' is in the 1900's.
