I'm going to AZ for a few days to meet up with a friend and then we are going to Rocky Point, Mexico over Memorial Day weekend. When I come back (on a Wednesday) I have a qualifier tournament to play in on Friday, so it'd be best if I could play some tennis while I was on my trip. Anyone know about good places to play in these areas?

Fountain Hills has a nice resort tennis facility called Copperwynd. I have never played there but I know some people who speak highly of it. What level player are you qualifier sounds like pro?

CopperWynd is "way up" there in the hills. Goober is right, it's a real nice place. We play league matches there sometimes. It is a resort, I'm not sure what the fees are to play there. You might want to call and ask.

I'm not familiar with Fountain Hills, but looking on a map it appears to be near Scottsdale. Here is a list of tennis facilities in and around Scottsdale ... might be useful.

Qualifier = Qualifying tournament for my southern sectionals (closed).
I will be about 2 minutes from Fountain Hills High School, if that's any indication of where I am, it'd about 30 minutes from Scottsdale. Thanks for all of your help!! |
