Serena vs. Schynder
I would think Serena is the heavy favorite versus Schnyder based on their H2H record but Schynder's tricky style seems to work on clay.

oh bummer... Serena lost the final set tie break 7-5
 Well, at least she got some good matchplay going into Roland Garros. Will wait for match report.

Ouch....looks like it was a good match. Schnyder is a good clayer, always underachieving it seems.
side note: Kuznetsova quietly moving though the draw, getting hot on the dirt again.

I think this was a great match for Serena on her way to RG. I think that she will peak just in time for RG.
