Did Michael use a Prince overgrip or a Yonex Grap at the '91 U.S. Open when he played McEnroe.

Not sure what he was using in 91' but I know it wasn't Yonex Grap, as we got him using Grap (white) at Indian Wells 2002

Definitely used the Prince brand, with the silver finishing tape.

I'm almost certain that Chang used the now-defunct Prince "Premiere" line of overgrips back then. They were also available in hot pink and optic yellow, as well as other more conventional colors. Excellent overgrip, with adhesive notch at one end and very tacky feel. Super Grap would be an excellent replacement.

I should make another post about this but anyway, Capriati used the pink one right?

Re: Capriati, maybe or maybe not. She may have used Gamma Grip 2 in the bright pink. But she probably did use Prince Premiere. Many overgrips at the time were sold in day-glo colors, even Tourna-Grip!
