Default Becker special edition, no lead?

So I just got my becker special edition demo, and there is no lead on the frame...so wouldn't mean the racquet is not as intended as does not represent what would come with a new one? From the pictures it looks like a single strip of lead at 3 and 9, no layers really. Is this accurate? If so I could add this myself, but it seems that someone pulled off whatever was there, as there is no lead and the paint has even come off in those areas.

Yes, there should be lead at 3 and 9, someone took it off.

The lead used looked quite thick on mine, not sure if adding a couple of strips off the shelf would get the balance to specs.

I would ask them to send a replacement demo, the balance of the racquet is what makes it special.

The Becker Special Edition racquet does have lead tape. If your demo does not, someone must've removed it. Please give our customer service a call and they will send you out a replacement. 800-883-6647

Hi Jason-

Thanks for the help, I tried throwing some lead on to match the pictures and it came out to the exact measured specs on the TW site, so I'll go ahead and stick with this one for now. Just let me know if you guys want me to leave it on or pull it off before sending it back.

Please pull it off and make a note when you send back the racquets that the Becker needs to have lead tape added.

Thanks,

Jason, TW
