Wilson Pro Feel Dampner and Strings?

Hi I have a question.

Is using a wilson pro feel dampner bad from rackets with a string pattern of 16x18?

this is what the dampner looks like

i just put it on, and it looks like its pushing my strings wider than it would naturally lay. Also, would this be bad for my strings potentially adding danger to them breaking easier when hitting?

Don't worry, it's completely normal. That's what happens when putting a dampener on racquets with dense string patterns or small heads. It doesn't damage the strings at all.
