Got this racket from a friend, who told me a pro gave to him used but not broken. I am not 100% convinced but cannot argue.

Check inside the throat for a code.
It's obviously a paintjob though.

It was Made in Austria. It is a Prestige Classic 600 with a LM Prestige PJ. When you are a Pro back during the i, LM, and FXP era and asked for a PC600 you got a "PT10". PT10=PC600!

I would guess a PT57a. Wanna sell it?

Definitely NOT a PT57A. Just look at the throat area front and back. It looks more like the prestige mid than the mp if you know what I mean.

It's the mold of the PC600, with a slightly different layup. In hairpin form, before the handle was cut and molded, the pallet would've read "H22010A2P". If the frame were released at a later time, approximately 3-4 months after the Flexpoint retail line was released (and therefore painted like a Flexpoint Prestige Mid), it would have "PT10" written in the throat, but, to reiterate, Head did not designate codes in the throats of their SMU frames until a few months after the retail Flexpoint line had been released.
Could it be Safin's frame? Doubtful--it's not smashed. It seems to be in 7.5-8/10 condition, and you could probably expect ~$300 for it. |

I doubt it's Safin's frame cos most (not all) of his frames came with his name printed on the inside...

I had a racquet identical this frame. It was a 4 3/8 lm pj PT10. don't expect $300 for it though. I had a lot of trouble selling mine for that. I think I was lucky to get $275. Great racquet though. If I could have obtained more and they could have been new I may have switched.
