Default Quarter Final!!! The GOAT bracket (60-00's) - the definitive pro popularity contest

hey

You are voting on who would win a match between player 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6 , and 7 and 8 in their prime or just upon who your favourite player in the match up is

After a fair time for voting (when there is a clear winner in each match up) or one week the poll will be closed

Please do not vote for 2 players in the same match up as voting will be public and both your votes discarded!

Match-ups (in draw format)
Federer [1] vs Nadal [2]
Sampras [1] vs Agassi [2]
McEnroe[1] vs Lendl [2]
Borg [2] vs Laver [1]

Above also points out that my seedings for each decade werent bad because we ended up with the top 2 seeds in each decade through to a last 8

Seedings were based upon a mixture of year end top 10 finishes and grand slam titles

You kinda deserve the abuse. I mean, these guys are all qualified for this kinda thing, but before you had no-slam Nalbandian, one star wonder Edmondson?

The poll is obviously a joke. Federer is up against Nadal, and he's leading 23 to 3. I mean come on, even as a Fed fan I find that ********. At least that it's that lopsided.

Laver would win on all but clay over Borg. A really old Laver was giving Borg competitive matches on clay in the mid 70s. I think he is a really bad matchup for Borg.

Yea there is a classic match of an older Laver vs. Borg on grass from some tournament from the mid-late 70s on youtube.. Amazing how Laver hung with a young Borg there.

What is this primarily based on anyways. popularity? If not.. Theres no way in HELL Federer should be up 23-3 for godsakes.

And even if it isn't, its still ridiculous, Nadal is just as popular as Fed is. And disregarding this Federer dreamworld people seem to be in, Nadal owns the clear h2h over Federer and has owned it for the past 8 years. . Reality should be ahead of dreaming here.

What a **** thread

Fed shouldn't even go past round 1 if he draws Nadal.

Unless it is an indoor court, prime to prime, the only way Federer place goes past 1st round with that draw in a major is on Planet TW.
