Default Agassi beats Sampras in Vegas!

I thought this had already been posted, but, I couldn't find it. So, in case you haven't read about it:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports...8nL_story.html

I'm as intreagued about the Sampras/McEnroe match as anything else. I would love to have seen that one.

Sampras was wise to let Agassi win in his own turf.

Yep: tit for tat--Sampras won in LA, Agassi wins in LV.

Students at Agassi Prep would not have liked it if he lost, and Sampras knew that.

Well, this is not a tournament-ready Agassi.

Even when he is in tip-top shape, he has a hard time beating Pete. At the moment, it is just too easy for Pete to take Agassi off the court (i.e., hitting zone).

Yes indeed, would love to hear some more about the SF matches. I suspect Pistol was playing nice

In the semifinals, Agassi beat Jim Courier 6-3, and Sampras topped John McEnroe 6-4.
