Hello I have been stringing for several years and am getting ready to do my first Prince O-port racquet. My stringer does not have a table lock any suggestions on how to do this without a Bomerang tool. Thanks for any help.

You can order it free from Prince, just call them. Search and you will see other ways but the tool is best.

Go to You Tube look for "Prince Boomerang Alternative Stringing Tool". Have a table that locks, have various Boomerangs if I had understood how simple and inexpensive the S hooks wouldn't have worried about either.
Learned about these first on this board, if you search you'll probably find this method listed with Sharpie Caps, Fingers, Toes and who knows what else. Regardless of the Marketing spin on the O Ports, far too many variables and methods that will ever guarantee good reliable consistency when not dealing with one individual stringer. |

Try the two piece 50/50 method.
EDIT: Only thing required is stringer racket and string.

50/50 should have been what Prince recommended when the O-ports first came out...

Same thing Wilson should have done with the ROLLERS system.

Thanks for the suggestions I will try the 50/50 that seems like the best option. I have tried calling Prince and they have never replied back. Someone said that the boomerang tool is no longer available.

needed, but i will be trying the 50/50 next time. the boomerangs work fine, but kind of a hassle to keep up with as stringing imo. |

Prince's number is 800 2 TENNIS ask for Pete he is the MRT there at Prince and will tell you how to do it. You want to start on the two string nearest the pivot of your turntable and tension two string above that point and then two below, two above then two below alternating until you're done. I am hoping you have flying clamps and not fixed clamps dedicated to one side.

In the time it takes to get a hold of Pete to have him send you a Boomerang, you can run to your local hardware store and pick up several S-hooks to try an alternative procedure. I wish I had recorded the size, but this image should put you in the ballpark. You "might" spend $2 bucks if you buy 3 - 4. Once you have the correct size you're off and running.
Nothing wrong with the 50/50 method, but I prefer the S-hook to both the Boomerang and the 50/50. Give it a try; if it you like it, great. If not, it only cost you a few bucks at the most. Here's the link to the video demonstrating how it's used. ![]() ![]()

Irvin went to a local shop and they showed me the 50/50 it was a little different but the results were good. My stringer is a Progression 602 with flying clamps and that is what we used. Thank you everyone for your help!!! Will also get some S-hooks and try that as well once again thanks and take care.
