Try again the real Jonny Quest was from 1964 and one of the greatest shows ever, and the original 24 or 25 episodes still hold up.....all the other stuff was crap. 60s cartoons the BEST.......
Space Ghost, Herculoids, Birdman, Shazzam, Samson, The Impossibles, Moby Dick, Frankenstien Jr, The Beatles Cartoon, Rocky and Bulwinkle, Couragous Cat, Mighty Mouse, Galaxy Trio, Flintstones, The Jetsons, the Amazing Spiderman (the GREAT one from 1967 everything after rubbish), Marvel Super Heros, Clutch Cargo.....god it goes on......the 60s was the golden age!!!!!! 1960's. One of the first prime time cartoons (was on ABC).
And it was Johnny not Johny. (Edit no, it is Jonny. ) Signed, Race Bannon P.S. Has anyone seen Bandit? Last edited by Fearsome Forehand : 09-18-2012 at 07:30 AM. |

What's Happening is from the 1970's: Rerun is dead now as is the mother and Shirley. Everyone else is still around. Sort of a lame show but there were only 3 networks so not to much choice then. There was a forgettable spin off in the 1980's What's Happening Now.

80s TV shows...............
Miami Vice Totally changed the tone and look of TV and movies......also helped revitalize Miami and make it cool again......city had huge image issues and lost its place as a goto destination in the 70s. Crime Story (also made by Michael Mann and his Miami Vice team) was great Quantum Leap Twin Peaks Cheers Magnum PI Married with Children The Simpsons Night Court The A Team |

I won't rehash those mentioned so far...here's a few more
Sitcoms: King was The Cosby Show; honorable mentions go to Golden Girls and Family Ties. Drama/Detective/Prime-time Soaps: Murder She Wrote, Hill Street Blues, Dallas (started in 70's but "Who Shot J.R.?" aired in '80), Dynasty, 21 Jump Street, and Matlock.

Thomas the Tank Engine, Quantum Leap.
I was 2 when the 80's ended though, so I'm more of a 90's child

Anyone remember the newspaper comic Arnold?
http://thatswhenireachformyrevolver....e-white-death/ http://www.toonzone.net/forums/showt...evin-McCormick If Kevin McCormick had stayed with it, he would be a bizillionaire by now. He killed off Arnold after 6 years and that was that. He became a pastor of all things with his wicked sense of humor. Last we heard in Rochester MI the hometown of someone named Madonna Ciccone. http://bakertoons.blogspot.com/2008/...mccormick.html Last edited by Fearsome Forehand : 09-17-2012 at 06:37 PM. |

I remember a bunch of BBC TV shows (mostly comedies). Yes, Minister.
Fawlty Towers. Sherlock Holmes. There was this German detective serial, dubbed in English, quite good except for the nasal voice -- IIRC the same one nasal voice was used to dub all the male voices and it got on my nerves. Then there was another German serial about some funny games played between different cities of Germany. Then there was Star Trek (ugh!).
