Default golfers elbow or strain???

So today I broke my strings during the first 5 minutes of the hitting session and my friend offered me a differest racket that was an ounce or so heavier.. I only hit with it for about 20 mins and didn't hit any serves only over heads... then I went back to a lighter racket and every time I hit a serve my elbow ached in the golfers elbow area but only when i hit serves???? im guessing its just a strain caused by the new racket weight but not so sure? how long should either of these last and whats a cure

There are several recent threads on GE & TE.

"guessing its just a strain" ?

"A strain is a stretching or tearing of muscle or tendon." From -

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/spr...trains/DS00343

If you just tore a tendon it is important to stop playing or otherwise stressing it immediately while the tissue is starting to heal. You run a risk of developing a chronic GE or TE injury if the tendon tissue heals in a defective manner on the microscopic level. See recent threads.

Best to see a well qualified Dr.

Both the best man and woman players in our tennis club are each currently dealing with recent TE injuries.

To OP, do not understimate that "GE" follow it, those issues could get worst easily.

You need a well qualified Dr and probably a sports medicine or orthopedic specialist to improve your chances of the right diagnosis.

Suppose that you are going to get 10 injuries playing tennis over the next 30 years. You assume each injury is the most likely injury found on the internet and follow some questionable internet treatment for that injury. Several of those 10 injuries might lead to chronic conditions - GE & TE in particular - that could have been avoided or minimized with the correct diagnosis and better treatment.

A friend of mine has gotten pain in his legs from a pinched sciatic nerve in his lower back........ Knee pain can be caused by many different injuries - I found a list of 15 of the more common knee injuries....... Find a diagnosis on the internet?
