I think Gasquet should be able to pull this match out. He seems to be hitting his forehand really well during this tournament and is making an active effort to stand closer to the baseline. He also has a winning head to head, so I think he should make the finals.
In fact, I personally think Gasquet would be a good choice to win the whole tournament given the players left. He has a winning record against Nieminen, Tipsarevic, and Simon; a combined 10 and 1 to be exact. I was most worried about Raonic, but thanks to Nieminen that problem was solved What do you guys think? |

Yeah Gasquet should win, whether he actually will though is in question. I think richie will win in straights

Nieminen got broken when serving for the match. Can Richie do it once again?

Ohh my. Nieminen foot faults to give Gasquet break point and Gasquet levels it to 5 - 5 in the 2nd.

Awsome display of new found Forehand by Gasquet. i really think he changed that grip more to semi western grip and now he is able to rip the ball from that side

Good to see richie actually hitting forehands like a top20 player now.

Gasquet pulls it out 6 - 2 in the third set.
Surprised to see him claw back after going down 0 - 4 in the 2nd set. Hopefully it'll be a good confidence boost for him as he goes into the finals. |

Great win Richie! I'd love for him to win it all but it's an All French final so who cares?
