Default racquet restorarion

Hi all. One of my hobbies is to restore abused frames back to original condition as possible. Something I struggle with is replicating small lettering that was on the frame. If anyone reading this has any tips or solutions that have worked for you, I'd be interested in learning how you do it. Appreciate any insight.

Use hobby shop decals which are water based (soluble?). Design and print what you want on paper, then on the decal. Place on painted surface of racquet and seal with clearcoat. There are threads on this somewhere on this forum, but this is what the users say to use.

Thx for the input. i'm not sure what is meant by print whatever decal you want. i can see where buying lettering decals from a hobby store, etc, but i would run into font and proper color issues. what is involved with designing my own transferable decals?
