Can anyone justify why overgrips are so expensive when the actual cost is pennies and they charge about $1 a piece?

Solution: STOP buying from wilson, head, balolot, ... , and find other brands much much cheaper, like pro's pro, klip, ... The same way goes for strings ! |

I agree to the post saying to stop buying from Wilson, Head, Babolat etc. (major companies).
Most people do this because that what the pros use. I think that you should not force yourself to buy what the pros use and buy the ones you think will be the best for you! Some of the minor companies sell AMAZING overgrips that people dont even notice. But i am not forcing you to stop buying from the major companies because i do agree that they have good overgrips but this is just how you can save a little more money

I switched from Tourna to the Solinco Heaven. Very good overgrip and I actually like the dark gray color vs Tourna's light blue.
Also no one uses it so its even cooler. |

I buy the 30 packs of the yonex supergrap. Yet...they do still seem to cost more than they should. i guess as long as i keep buying, the price will not drop.
I've seen those large plastic containers at the tennis shops with many single rolls in them. Not even sure of the brand or feel, but i'd guess it's a good price per unit. edit: http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Fort...N-OGFORWT.html Last edited by tbuggle : 11-10-2012 at 01:52 PM. |
