Dunlop Bio 400 Tour. Two Different PJs??

Hi,

There seems to be two different PJs on this frame. I have two of these and on one there is the Dunlop "d" at the throat and the other has the PJ that is shown in the TW listing (sort of a Star symbol at the throat". They spec out the same and play no different in my hands. Other on-line retailer show the PJ with the "D" at the throat. Any comments? I have seen this many times from Wilson and Dunlop. BTW.. my two frames come in at 12.2 oz with one overgrip and Dunlop Vibration Dampener. They are 8-9 points HL. Full beds of poly.

Thanks any insights are welcome.

Yes, there are two paint job versions: the very first ones released had the "D" on the throat and shortly thereafter it changed to the Star symbol at the throat.

I really enjoy this frame, in no way does it swing like a 11.5 stick. And I have no issues with it being 8,9 pts headlight, its can handle power hitters.

I used the 400 t before my current racket and I loved it but it was just not stable enough for volleys and I generally don't like to lead up rackets.

Thanks so much for the info. Regarding the issues with volleys, I also find that is seems to be only downside to this frame in my testing. If you strike your volleys lower in the stringbed, the issue is less pronounced. I also plan to try some different string set-ups to try to open up the sweetpot a bit to I hope help with this. On the other hand with me...I tend not to depend on my net game to win points. I also may experiment to a bit of lead..but I am also not someone that like to employ lead much. We will see...otherwise love the frame. Great serving frame... groundstokes are wonderful. Easy to produce... great spin and power.

I agree with you guys, love Bio 400T for serve and groundies. But it need a bit of lead at 12 or 1&11 imo. Just 2 grams did trick for me.
