Default Question for Andy, Chris and Troy: Blade 98 vs Dunlop F3.0

Could you compare the new blade 98 (18x20) and the Dunlop F3.0 tour in terms of feel, plow and solidness? Which one would you choose?
Thank you in advance guys.

I would give the edge in all three of those categories to the Blade 98. The feel is crisp, yet plush and soft, it has great plowthrough and thus is super solid at impact. The F 3.0 Tour is a little faster through the air and also has a crisp feel, but gets a bit brassy feeling on off-center hits. It also has a nice solid feel, but not quite as good (in my opinion) as the new Blade.

Hope this helps!

Andy, TW

Thanks for the reply Andy, I guess you were using a full bed of poly during the play test, I find the previous model of the blade kind of stiff, did you find the new version easier on the arm?

I was using a full bed of poly. I found it to be pretty comfortable on the arm, as it did not by any means feel noticeably stiff. I think the Amplifeel technology Wilson introduced in the handle does wonders dampening the shocking feel and providing a more plush response at contact. The older versions got a bit "brassy" feeling on off-center hits, but I did not find that to be the case with these newer ones.
