I used to buy case of balls locally because tw charges for shipping.

will the free shipping on everything, especially on cases of balls, be gone soon?

Not likely to remain as the profit margin on tennis balls is notoriously small. Price hasn't changed very much in recent decades, with specials run periodically to get people into stores.
