Awesome Goo

Has anyone used this stuff yet? It's black, and it doesn't have harsh solvents (no funky smell) - it cures with hot water or heat from a hair dryer. I hear it's flexible too.

My question is: does anyone know if it marks up the surface of the court?

Shoe goo? Wouldn't suggest it unless you like reapplying it every 3 days of play. Also the tubes are $4, you'll go through as many tubes as it would cost to purchase a new pair of shoes.

Looks to be the same, maybe Awesome goo will be harder when it drys? If that's the case, less traction and more durability. For $10 a tube, you might be better off with Shoe goo or new shoes. Trust me, the cost of repairing shoes for how ever long is the same as buying new shoes. Just get 6 month durability shoes if you go through the soles quickly.

Thing is I like the Vapor 6's and have several old pairs I'd like to resurrect. If this doesn't work, there is a patch option I've seen online.
