Default Comparing Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and their Grand Slam finals

Novak is now 6-4 in Grand Slam finals. In his first 10 finals, he has been in 8 hard court finals (80%), 1 claycourt final (10%) and 1 grass final (10%).

Compare this to Federer's first 10 Grand Slam finals. In his first 10 finals, he was in five hardcourt finals (50%), four grass finals (40%), and 1 claycourt final (10%).

Looking at Nadal's first 10 grand slam finals, he was in 5 claycourt finals (50%), 4 grasscourt finals (40%), and 1 hard court final (10%).

It is quite clear that Federer, and especially Nadal have more diverse resumes than Djokovic. Djokovic is a hardcourt specialist.

Definitely. Though Nadal and Federer both have 5,4 and 1 so I don't know why Nadal is especially diverse (more so than Federer) in fact Fed made the finals at all 4 slams, but then again Nadal won on hard, grass and clay.

Nadal is clay court giant. This logic doesn't take into account that there is 1 clay slam and two HC slam.

He was making grass finals as well by playing the same style.

Yep.

This is why I can't see Djokovic winning more Wimbledons or more than 1 RG.

Dude is a hc specialist.

He won nothing off hc last year...

When all is said and done, he will probably have like 8 HC slams(6 AO and 2 USO). One slam on grass and one slam on clay.

Federer is the most diverse player on tour.
