Default Tipsy out in 2nd round in Montpellier

Lost to Llodra. Does anyone know anything about this match? Is he still injured? Looks like his days in the top 10 are numbered this year.

Maybe he just got upset? It happens, French players seem to do well in their home country.
Can't find mention of an injury and he has no problems retiring so completing the match could be a sign.
Tipsarevic won Chennai and made 4R in Australia so he is having a good start to the season otherwise.

Yeah, I like him a lot so I always worry about him struggling. I like seeing him in the top 10 and worry about him slipping in the rankings and then having a hard time climbing back up.

How do you mention their performances in Roland Garros then?

France has only one slam win in the Open Era, Noah at RG, so better than the rest.

llodra, in my opinion, has the best volley the game has ever seen. his serve is phenomenal as well. it was indoors, in the south of france, on llodra's favourite surface, and llodra led the head to head one nil! were you expecting a different outcome!!?

Llodra played a very solid service game.

I agree that the big news is that Tipsi didn't retire...

Cool

All of the above...it was one break and a TB. Llodra had eight BPs and converted only once, so Tipsy was competing and just got slightly outplayed. IIRC, Llodra has always done well there and in Marseille so it's not a huge upset.
