Hi there. i'm going to try this set-up. Been playing with 4G for a month now and i like the control @#50. Yesterday a friend of mine gave me a set of VS Gut team 17. Now I am tinkering what tension should i use...
Whether 61/59? 60/58? 55/51? Any suggestion who use this set-up is really much appreciated. Thanks! I'm a 4.5 level player all court player. OHBH like Wawrinka. |

I have used this hybrid before but with 16g VS. I prefer the cross to be 2 pounds less or even 1.5 pounds less than the mains. For me its the trajectory of the ball with my natural strokes that determines the cross tension.

I string this exact setup at 55/48 in my pure storm tour. I'm a ntrp 5.0 that hits hard with spin if that helps. This setup gives me good depth and spin. But if I'm a little off it will sail long. Really need to commit to evey shot.

I use this same set up in my Bio Max 200G at 60/60... Sublime! FWIW... I'm also a 4.5
