Default Yonex in the juniors

Are Yonex racquets very popular in the juniors these days? Do you see them on the courts and at tournaments in your area?

Are they popular at national championship level? ITF?

Kind of curious. They always seem to be in the pros hands...particularly women. I just don't see them on the courts much myself.

Great racquets. Not very popular among juniors in the south. I recall seeing 3 kids using them at about 50 tournaments in the last 2 yrs.

Never seen one here in PA. I tried one once, didn't like it at the time.

I see them here, but not a lot. It's a popular racket in Asia, and as such, I think that influences buyers here. I think it depends on the local rep.

Quite popular among girls. Last year in San Diego probably 10-15 girls with Yonex rackets out of 384 Supernational participants, including some top girls. It seems they are prevalent in California and the North East. Vcore 100/Ezone Xi 100 mostly.

I used to use the 98 square inch red racquet for about a year. I think maybe one or two other juniors in St Louis used them.
