Just a thought that Occoured to me.
Although women's tennis is very unpredictable, Serena Williams is going to be favourtie for Wimbledon and the US. Azarenka and Sharapova could also win one of them but will probably have to avoid playing Serena, especially Sharapova. But I can't pick the favourite for the french, I can't see Serena winning the French, as much as I'd like to see it. Also the French has seen the most one time slam champions recently, Ivanovic, Shiavone, Li Na. Who do you think is favourite? |

There is no favorite at this point. Only when the clay court season starts will we have an idea. However I think any of Azarenka, Serena, Na, Stosur, Kvitova, Radwanska, or Sharapova are capable of winning the French this year with Serena, Na, and Azarenka the most likely three.

Picking the winner of the womens French Open is a challenge right now. Nobody is phenomenal on clay. It's a toss up. Whoever is in form will win, see Pova last year, see Na the year before that, see Schiavone the year before that. You hit a hot streak and it can be yours.

I think this time it will be Sara Errani, Vinci or Kerber.

I think Li has a good chance. She looked good in Australia and lost a close final. If she can take that form into the tournament and with the experience of winning it before she is a good bet.
