Just got it. In some ways I'm better in the game and others in real life....lol. Just figuring out the nuances. The create a player is really funny. In some ways I've gotten it to look alot like me at least from the face and especailly the nose.

So who here plays online? We could set up more tournaments if we have enough players.

Rented it, built a few players, played online...it was OK. Maybe I didn't play it long enough to acclimatize myself to every subtle nuance, but the game seemed off. I was disappointed to find that a 5 star volley wasn't the weapon I thought it would be, and frequently got my butt handed to me by players that had invested their stars elsewhere. I mean really, you take the time and effort to allocate 5 stars to your volley, sacrificing other masteries in the process, and all you get for rushing the net is a rally...something that could have been done from the baseline without the risk of approaching.

I've only had it a couple of weeks now, but have gotten hooked on it. Once I learned how to play and won my first match it was great. It seems like you almost have to play today's power game to win though. This 'old school' gamer hasn't learned to win w/ s&v yet, but I'll work on it.

Heh, you guys should play WWvolley. He will make you think twice about how good volleys can be in this game, trust me lol. He doesn't even have 5 star volleys.

I don't have it, but I convinced my friend to get it (he doesn't even play tennis :P) it's pretty fun, but I'm not that great at tennis videogames. The whole aspect of running one way, stopping, then aiming another way is too tough. I end up aiming too early, and running that way before I hit the ball (which usually ends up coming at the the opposite way from which I'm aiming, so I run completely away from it :P) Ah shucks...

Find it very relaxing especially the playground courts. Incredibly scenic.

I wish the serve part of the gameplay was more challenging.

I love to give Sampras a little attitude. Cracking me up how silly that makes him look.

Haven't tried to play online yet but I don't really have the patience to built up a player from scratch so I guess I won't stand a chance against other players.

That depends, last check showed over 60,000 ranked people online. So some ranked low probably aren't that good. While some may be ranked 18 and pretty okay

I have the game but I have one problem but its more my fault. I created a guy that can put the craziest angles on top spin and flat shots. I gave him 4 in serve, 5 in forehand, 3 in backhand, and 2 in volley. no one can beat me because of this so I always win.

I play only against my friends. My brother and I played online untill we played a couple of people where it lagged. We just thought it was a bad connection. Well we played them about 2 weeks later and it lagged again. So we got tired of it. O and I about the last option in the poll...I think Hewitt was the easist computer because he always went for a risk shot and screwed up. Im not saying this to brag, because I dont think im that good.
