for me, I tend to do a decent amount of volume, and hate having to fiddle with outside mounts. I recently switched (at work) to a 6 point outside mount and It really bugs me. I would prefer the inside mount, as Gamma has said there are negligible differences.

I have a 2 point mount and never had a problem. Barry mentioned the clamps, you might want to check and see what other differences the machines might have. Can't go wrong either way...
