Because the game is realistic.

Actually I think it's because Gamespot is an American site, so obviosuly they're making Roddick look good. I think they would've beenc razy to have had Roddick beating down Federer.

PS3 doesn't suppot multiplayer? Where did that come from?

Roddick was shocking. In no man's land the whole time. Nadal should have taken it.

Roddick was taking the ball on the rise. He hit the ball as soon as it touched the ground preventing Nadal's shot from bouncing too high.

What I should have said was "PS3 doesn't support online multiplayer"

I read that in Eurogamer's First Impressions of Virtua Tennis 3

I think it will be online multiplayer in the US.

The last Virtua Tennis for PS2 was online, don't see why they wouldn't make the PS3 one online.

It looks like the same gameplay as Virtua Tennis 2, except a bit smoother graphically. Some of the same errors are still present.

-Roddick's serve speed averaged only 188 km/h, the absolute maximum was only 217 km/h. They do this so that his serve can actually be returned, but he obviously hits bigger than that.
-Attacking the net is still too easy.. in virtua tennis playing an attacking game and constantly moving forward is much too simple. When you are caught in the famed "no man's land" in virtua tennis, it's no big deal as you can just hit a normal shot from your feet.
-The overhead is ridiculously powerful.

Does anyone know if there is a zoom camera angle in virtua tennis 3. I hate the far camera angle. I wish tennis games stuck with the zoom for singles and doubles (or at least have the option to do so)

In virtua Tennis 2 / World Tour (PSP), you press Select on the PSP version for close up zoom behind your player. I'm sure Virtua Tennis 3 will have a better sort of feature.
