Default Michael Chang a 5.0 league player?

http://tennislink.usta.com/leagues/r...NTRPRating=5.0

Is it a different Michael Chang or the former French Open winner who is now a 5.0?

I was going to say, that's taking USTA league cheating to an all-time high if it were THE Michael Chang.

Until just recently, the USTA website listed Sam Querry as a 5.5. This was of course after he had taken sets off Gaudio, Blake, and Nadal.

Yes, the highest league near him is a 5.0 and they gave him an exception to play. Who wouldn't want a shot at beating a former GS champion!

I noticed that there is just one 6.0 player listed from my area (Central Indiana).

What's weird is there are more 3.5 players listed in the Central Indiana district (512) than in all of Chicago. Very odd.

I searched(tennis geek) the USTA site for the rules and regulations and the NTRP matrix, and was unable to locate either. There were a lot of rules and regulations about filing comlaints and complaint handling, gee do you think they need so many regulations covering this?

First of all, Michael makes his home in Mercer Island, Washington, Second, there is NO WAY, that he would even come close to a self rating of 5.0.

That's true. I also know one as well. Might be even more common than John Smith.

I think that Michael Chang is a junior I got to clinic with. I think he lives in Cerritos. Not too sure though.

Uh nothing against Cerritos, but somebody with as much money as the real Michael Chang would not be living there.

If you looked up this guys record he has USTA matches going back to 2002 while the real Chang was still playing on the tour

I think Michael Chang lives in Seattle and occasionally plays at Mercer Island, or so I hear.

He played on Jim Courier's senior tour last year. He obviously was not in tennis shape since he lost to Courier in a walk over and had to retire to Pernfors- lol.
