Players who come close but will never win a tournament.

Don't you sometimes have this feeling with particular players.
When they sometimes do get to the semis in a tournament, but are likely to never take the whole championships?
For example Florian Mayer, is to me one of those players.

And I actually feel sorry for them in a weird sort of way.
