Hurt Wrist, Can't Play Depressed!

How long does a torn/damaged wrist ligament take to heal? I had this mountain bike accident 6 weeks ago, and it still hasn't healed! How should I treat it? I'm depressed because I can't play tennis! I NEVER KNEW HOW MUCH I LOVED PLAYING UNTIL I COULDN'T PLAY!

are you in a cast?

generally, do what the doctor's telling you to do, do NOT rush things.

if could well be 5 months, in case you had a surgery.

look at Kim or Venus, they were out of operation for more than half an year as a result of wrist injuries.

BTW.. I used to love your videos on MTV . Ever try playing left-handed??? Or... right-handed if you are a southpaw. I am not joking.. If you are not doing USTA or tourneys.. Give it a try. I do it all the time. It will at least get you on the court. You will be very suprised how you good you will get if it is your only option. That being said.. you will have to get a much less skilled hitting partner.
