Talking what happens if a player complains after a match is over?

Say if a player was distracted by a fan in the stands or something like that but did not report it to the umpire during the match and, for some reason, complains afterwards, can anything be done to compensate him/her? Is it possible or would it be just pointless to complain after a match is over?

Pointless. Just looks like sour grapes afterwards.

If a player is distracted by an action done deliberately by a fan and loses on a point, can the point be replayed?

I feel like it should be. But i'm not sure. happened during a college match, a fan yelled at our player during his 2nd serve toss.

So it depends on the severity of the distraction and ultimately on the decision of the umpire then?

it's a judement call by the umpire. It happens in college a lot, and I've actually seen officials assess point penalties then game penalties to the highest number home team player still playing (much like post match codes in college are assesed to the highest number playing still playing). Obviously it changes greatly with the umpires. Some will allow alomost anything, some will replay points in the same manner as if a ball rolled onto the court when distractions are made...made college matches a lot of fun though...

the end score is still the same unless there is like a drug incident or something similar

Are you asking if someone calls Venus and/or Serena a "nappy headed ho", are they automatically declared the winner?
