Did your HS coach make cuts?

Our coach was going to, but decided not to. We have eight courts, and had about 35, but some dropped out cause the training was too hard, or they were bad at tennis. we're down to like 25, and i was really close to the cut line, but now i play JV team!

mine did but the only people he cut were freshman and sophmores. Well and one junior he hated. We only have 4 courts tho so thats why he had to. But all the cut kids can come to practice when we have a friday practice

We didn't make cuts and we have some people you just want to tell them to quit we have 2 juniors that suck and dont even try.

We have 12 courts and a small amount of freshman and sophmores were cut, but all the juniors and seniors who are bad are just back up JV.

we had cuts, pretty strong tennis in this area.

we had cuts. About 50 tried out for JV and 16 made it, and 30 tried out for varsity and 14 made it (the other 16 couldn't play for JV)

does your coach ever change up the line-up. my coach sometimes puts varsity players on JV some days and even plays some JV on var.

They're different teams and different coaches. Sometimes people from JV get to play for Varsity if people from varsity can't play. Putting people from Varsity onto our JV team would be useless anyway, most schools around us (except one or two) suck, so we win almost every match anyway.

We had about 10, but there are 5 spots. I'm in the U20 team (varsity) for SEASAC (SouthEastAsia Sports and Athletics Conference), although I turned 14 in Feb. A proud achievement for me because my school is the best tennis team in South East Asia

yea, we had 20 try out he cut 4 of the 7 freshman that tried out, basically none of them were very good, aka hadn't played much tennis before. That brought it down to 16 and then 2 seniors quit right after because they both didnt make varsity and didn't think JV was worth the effort. Top 7 made varsity, which is ME , another frosh, one sophmore 3 Juniors and one senior, our team will be nasty next year
