Default John Mcenroe goes ballistic at the umpire

Good old Jonny Mac at his worst. Check this tennis clip out. I forgot how funny he looks when he is mad.

I don't know if people the took this as "entertaining", pretty sure this kind of outburst will be booed at least.

unfortunately for McEnroe, his opponent in that match (Lendl) was unfazed by such an outburst.

I've always wondered what that little twitch was before Lendl's service wind up.

Anyone have any idea why he does that? Just an OCD twitch?

I love that man!! He never fails to entertain, but I agree with you Mick - I imagine it would become very old very fast.

I think it would be Johnny Mac that will get "penalized". Anyway, I loved that clip where McEnroe was in one of his tirades and Lendl had enough of it and hit a shot directly towards McEnroe. He needs more of that.

suppose you guys were in McEnroe's position and thought that the umpire had missed a close call, would you challenge the umpire or let it go ? I think I would challenge the umpire too, although I would not challenge him the way McEnroe did.

I always thought he must have had a habit of adjusting the grip right before the ball toss.

^Yeah he was funny with grips. Wasn't he the one that had a bag of saw dust or something to help with his grip?
