Default Nasdaq 04 is Agassi's only chance to win another tournament

Must be hard training as hard as Steffi says to just to lose in the qtrs. Better pack it in Andre.

I honestly believe that if he doesnt win the US Open...he will consider retiring during the european indoor season that he very little plays...

Maybe I'm naive but I see him playing past this year and play at least next year.

obviously Andre will win Miami, and, like Sonicspeed said, will play AT LEAST this year and the next.

I don't think Andre will play Miami. By the end of that IW semi, he was looking pretty tired, and I think that will set in faster here if he meets some grinding opponenents, and he will finally run into someone who is just too hot and knock him out, even if it's the finals (aka Federer)

since you don't think he is playing Miami, i wonder who that was who flew straight to Miami to practice for 5 days and then won a match tonight. sure looked like him.

Hehe, I think Carlos meant to say Agassi won't win Miami instead of playing it.

If you're a talented, smart player with a lot of heart, you'll always have a chance to win even if you're not as fast as the other guys or you get physically tired... andre's no acception. Now the actual percentage of Agassi winning big is debatable, but no matter how big or small that percentage is, that window of opportunity is still there.

Also, every player has his or her own personal reasons to play the game. Obviously everyone would like to win every tournament they enter, but usually there's more. Even though Andre is in the public, the public doesn't know every single thought that's in his head. Whatever motivation he carries within himself, he deserves to have a chance to follow it without ppl bothering him about it. He's alreadly done a lot for the game, just let him play.

Ya, I meant that he won't win it. I still think he's gonna get taken out before the finals, if not in the finals, but he won't win it
