Default To the benefit of all

Let's make this a thread full of tips or pointers on how to generate more pace or spin on your second serve.

I think this is an area almost everyone can afford to read about, and i'll list some things I know:

- Use the same pace on your swing as your first serve, don't slow it down.

- Even though the ball is back more than your first serve, still go up off the ground to reach it, using your legs to push off the ground and you should still land inside the court after contact.

Any more? let's go!

At 3.0, my serve doesn't have tons of pace, but it is VERY consistent. And it's not a whiffle ball, either. Depending upon the circumstances, I may "go for it" a bit more on my first serve, then go to my "steady" serve for the second. Another thing that seems to work to my advantage is that I am consistently deep, and I can paint the corners pretty well. But my serve is pretty flat. It is rare, again at my level, that my serve really gets used against me. Only if I really tighten up and don't get it deep do I run into huge problems.
