Why do people hate babolats. They are sick racquets if you hit with them. Great for big serving and forehands. My only complaint was that they felt like boards. I heard that the cortex actually improves feel so Im going to have to give them a try.

Pros would play with any racket they're given, its different if they bring a racket to play with. I saw tony roche playing with an npro surge, a babolat pd, and an N90 in pictures (well he was holding an n90, and slumped over a chair, so I'm assuming he was playing with it).

Sampras was the role model for Federer. Laver plays a PD now. Then Pete, then Roger will follow the lead. |

I've played with a PD once, from my limited experience it wasn't a bad racket. And from what I've seen its easily the most popular choice of NCAA players.

No. Read my post - it should be quite clear that I was referring to adults of a certain age who are used to classic frames when I wrote: "...in the hopes that it would fool some people into believing that there isn't much difference between classic racquets and Babolats, and that if legends like Laver can make the switch, anyone can." It's good to read posts before you respond to them. Last edited by Deuce : 06-08-2007 at 09:49 PM. |

And I'll switch to a PD at Laver's age, too.

I'll make sure and read your posts many, many times before I respond to them but your quote "...in the hopes that it would fool some people into believing that there isn't much difference between classic racquets and Babolats, and that if legends like Laver can make the switch, anyone can." doesn't say anything about adults and neither did suresh's post either. So, nanny nanny boo boo. Maybe you should state a little more clearly what exactly you mean. |

Laver "holding" a PD in a picture doesn't automatically qualify him as a user of one.

I'm sure he would play with a swordfish mounted on a plaque if they paid him enough. He's doesn't play competitvely anymore. He's retired. I'm sure he could use the dough. He used to use Pro Kennex for the same reason. You don't have to be Scooby Doo(as they say) to figure out this mystery.
