Do you like Venus or Serena better?

Serena has a better game than Venus because of two shots. Her serve and her forehand. If you take a look at the 2003 Australian Open final, you can easily see the discrepancy between Venus' serve and Serena's serve, especially the second serve. Both prefer to hit backhands than forehands, but Serena's is still better than Venus'. That 2003 Australian Open match was the closest grandslam final that they ever played against each other, and the match was up for grabs at 4-4 in the third. Serena held her serve, despite a long game that went to deuce and ad many times. Than, at 4-5 down, Venus started out by hitting a double fault. She then missed the rest of her first serves in the game, and Serena just crushed all of Venus' second serves and won the game, match, and tournament at love. If Venus really wants to compete for the number one spot, she will have to improve her serve. She should take a look at Serena, and learn how to hit kick second serves. Venus' serve is a liability, where Serena's serve his a strength. Serena probably has the best second serve in the history of women's tennis.

I think Venus has a better backhand than Serena. Serena has a good one, but she shanks it alot. As far as first serve goes... Venus hits more aces and more unreturnables. Yes, Serena does have a better 2nd serve, but Venus also vollies alot better than Serena.

Venus has a *little* better taste in clothing. If we want to see any more of Serena we'll have to get ahold of her x-rays.

Serena. She's better technically than Venus for one thing. Another is her mental strength. Venus just seems more fragile. I'm not sure that Venus can compete with Henin today (as oppposed to Henin when the Williams were dominating the WTA). I have every confidence that Serena will beat Henin though and regain her No 1 ranking.

Venus, because Serena grunts louder and has a bad dress sense? Talk about an audio and visual assault

Anyway, it's good that they're back. It'll be interesting to see how they'll do against the other players.
