Not a lot for me to say here. If Roddick's 1st % is high he'll win, if it isn't he'll lose. Plain and simple.

Liam

Williams v Daniilidou starts at 1pm Miami, 7pm GB. The predictable 6-0 6-0 will last about 40 minutes.

Moya v Roddick will be next on, say starting at about 8pm our time.

Hope you've got Sky Sports Extra...

I'm unusual on this board as I neither love nor hate Roddick. Dispassionate evaluation, I think he wins in two. More important question. When is the match scheduled? I see NASDAQ is on today from 1-5. Do we see it live?

Monkeys might just be starting to crawl...Moya took the first set 7-5 over Andy, but I think he'll get 'im back...C'Mon Andy.

Oh boy...Moya's about to serve for the match. Fingers crossed, but, from what I'm seeing on the Live SB, Moya's been playing quite well, not getting down on himself much. Let's see what happens, though I think the monkeys are itching to get out

Gilbert has gotten Roddick to attack and volley more. Now the big question is, is this an appropiate strategy for Roddick this late in the game. That is, I believe that if you don't start before you're 16, it is very hard to be a good volleyer. Agassi resisted Gilbert's attempt to get him to come in more. Roddick has missed alot of volleys at net today.

I can't believe Moya lost to that kid again.. I got the sense Moya didn't want to win this match.. what a girl.. He reminds me of one big russian with so much game and so little brains..
Roddick didn't deserve this again but he'll take this gift..
I don't get, why so many players give up when they play this Rod-hole ?

Vlad, it's not a question of them giving up, but of Andy NOT giving up. Granted, Moya could've served out that match, but Andy showed real heart breaking back twice. It's

Andy just didn't give up. He dug in and gave it all he got. Carlos wavered a bit but that is part of the game. At THE biggest moments is where/when it all boils down to.

BUt then again, I have their masters cup match on tape, and Moya can go on days where he returns EXTREMELY well, and if he has one of those days, I see Roddick going out for sure. If not, Moya will take him in close tie-breaks or 3 sets for sure. God I will at least finally get to see Moya on tv now in a high quality match. Moya wins the tourney if he beats Roddick
