Default U.S. Open trip

I'm going to the U.S. Open this year. I don't fly much. I live in Orange County, CA and want to fly out of John Wayne airport into La Guardia. Which airline is the best and how can I get the cheapest round trip ticket? Thanks in advance for your help.

You need to do some looking on Expedia or Orbitz, and the major airlines' sites. I don't remember who files out of John Wayne, but Jet Blue can be very inexpensive and has nice planes/service, also American, United, etc.

I fly from NY to OC often. I would recommend that you fly out of Long Beach to JFK on Jet Blue. I've done both options but if I have by pick I would rather fly Long Beach to JFK via Jet Blue than say American/Delta from John Wayne to JFK or LGA. Check Orbitz and JetBlue for prices. All trips should be non-stop and should cost around 500. You better hurry, lest than a month away!

500? Are you talking about 1st class? I just got a round trip ticket from Jet Blue for less than 300.

Thanks everyone for your input.
