August is Agassi Month on TTC
The Tennis Channel is celebrating August with a classic Agassi match every Saturday night. New Agassi documentary "Between the Lines" premieres Sept. 8th. Eat it up Agassi fans. Here is the schedule:
Agassi August on Air August 4th Roland Garros Classic: 1991 Final Agassi vs. Courier August 11th Mercedes Benz Cup 2004: Agassi vs. Haas August 18th Master Series Madrid Quarterfinal 2004: Agassi vs. Robredo August 25th Davis Cup Classic: 1995 Agassi vs. vs. Wilander September 1st Davis Cup Classic: 1989 Agassi vs. Becker *SEPTEMBER 8TH PREMIERE of AGASSI: BETWEEN THE LINES @10pm

man, those are some poor choices. TTC needs to get the rights to better old matches(madrid? mercedes benz cup? who cares?)
show more agassi circa '95, that's when he was at his most exciting. |

agassi's biggest moment as a pro was his french open finals win vs. medvedev in '99. i don't understand why TTC didn't show this match during the week leading up to the french open (when they were showing french open classic matches).

What happened to the Roland Garros classic against Courier?
I set my dvr to record it, only to come back and see ATP Legg Mason and WTA Acura Classic recorded on it. Did TTC air the Agassi vs. Courier at all? |

^yeah the schedule is suspect. my guide says Agassi vs Gambill today but the site says '91 French Courier-Agassi

anyone watch Agassi-Wilander? pretty good stuff, can't believe Wilander was picked for the team in '95.
Interesting that 3 of the 4 matches they are showing are matches that Agassi lost. Couldn't they find ones he won for an appropriate tribute? |

The Becker match was really nice. The loss to Courier is an extremely interesting viewing as well.
I'm not sure what Robredo did to warrant this. I would really like to see Agassi v Mancini in Rome in 89 and Agassi-Edberg at the Masters in '90 (both of them). |

I really enjoyed the Documentary, I hope one day they might sell it as a DVD. Would be nice if they had an extra too, like a Complete Match.
