Two things that i heard on these boards got me interested
1.) He uses a continental grip (close to it) 2.) He strikes the ball extremely slow I couldnt find any cips on youtube |

This board is notorious for junk.
I have seen Davide play live. Front row live. He does not play with a continental grip. I SERIOUSLY doubt any top 100 atp player (singles ranking) plays with a continental grip. He uses a clear eastern grip. He also doesn't hit the ball slow. He hits is slow-er... but he can juice it up if he likes. I saw him play James Blake and at times he was pounding hard from the baseline, other times he was content to massage the ball back and not give James pace. He hit winners too so he couldn't have been hitting that slow. |

With his low tension on racquet it just isn't possible to hit hard...but the ball travels pretty fast.
