Default silly overgrip question

never used an overgrip and was wondering before I put it on, the side covered with the celophane is supposed to be up, right?
just to want to make sure, because both sides seem kind of sticky

Red face Dumb response

Wow you're dumb! Maybe you should play tennis once before putting overgrip on you're racquet!

Wow, you're rude! Maybe you should keep quiet until you can come up with something constructive to say!

Nothing dumb at all ... a perfectly legitimate question.

And for the record, Bartman, it's not "you're racquet" ... it's "your racquet."

hahaha....good one.

You'd be surprised how many people use the wrong side 'unintentionally'. This is especially true for tournagrip users.

I've known people who regularly used both sides. They'd use one side, then flip it. I've used both out of curiosity and I can't tell a difference (Tournagrip).

I use Prince Dura Tac and actually prefer the *non-tacky* side better, so I put it on reverse the way it's supposed to. I don't like that sticky fell. Ech.

i think the usage of both sides is what drew me to use the wilson pro overgrip. with the absorbmor i used previously, one side was tacky and the other wasn't.

Yeah, that was a pretty-unneccesary "wow you're dumb" comment. -.-... I use yonex super grap, and one side is more tacky, but I have flipped them over before and used both sides. It feels a little weird though so I don't do it all the time.

I was using Microzorb on the wrong side too until a friend pointed out my mistake. And I was wondering why it was turning black after 2 hours of play. hehe.
