Default Useless information thread

In my boredom i decided to create this thread, in which I will post 1 or 2 pieces of useless information a day, until I can't be bothered doing it anymore. I encourage people to contribute if they want to.

1st piece of information: Carrots used to come in a variety of colours, mostly purple. Dutch farmers decided to just use the orange ones to confirm with the country's flag.

2nd: At birth, a Panda bear is smaller than a mouse.

if i may be forgiven for asking a useful question: andres, your generous sig talks of a training racquet. Could you elaborate ?
Once while reading reviews outside this forum, i read of a guy who had a K90 and a K95 and said he used one for training and one for tournaments.

Is there some standard practice of using a heavy rack for training, and a lighter one for comp. I understand that racks have different feels, and balances etc. So why the training rack ?

Lack uselessly being useless in this useless thread.

If you get one leach, lets call it 'leach A' and put it into a maze with a random drop of blood in the maze somewhere, the leach will eventually find it through trial and error.

Now, if you get another leach, lets call it 'leach b' and then make it consume leach A, and then proceed to place it in the same spot of the maze, and then also place a of drop of blood in the same place in the maze, it shall find it without any errors.

Define Useless. For whom ?
What if you post something you think is useless, but its useful to me ? THEN WHAT HAPPENS ?????

e.g. the previous post on leeches (NOT LEACHES) was v useful to me since i do research on leeches and their learning abilities.

Similarly, i do crosswords frequently. So andres' post about Franklin will stand me in good stead on that day when I require that 8 letter word that is an anagram of nilkarf.

This thread will also help me in understanding the meanderings of the human mind in times of extreme boredom, so the entire thread is useful.

So what do we do now?

heh, well at least this one is definitely wrong.
At least if you don't mean it metaphorically. The strongest muscle is either the masseter (jaw muscle) or the gluteus maximus(butt muscle) In analogy with their size you can say also that the eye muscles are the strongest and to the quantity of the work then it's the heart. But definitely not the tongue.

You cannot enable AH with IPsec on a network that uses NAT.

The training racquet is a wooden racquet. I use for specific reasons, only. I have my normal training sessions with my regular racquets, but I use the woody for some volleying drills, and specially, sweetspot drills. And getting used to an almost 19 oz racquets helps you improving your swingspeed when you go back to the normal frame.

Once you mastered hitting the sweetspot with a 68 sq. inches racquet, moving to a 95 sq. inches one is a piece of cake.

The woodie doesn't provide me enough pop, nor control, nor spin to use it in real tournaments. It's more like a DRILL and SKILLS help. Nothing more, nothing less.
