Default Smooth deal with Jon Crossley

Great transaction with Jon (cro6929@student.waynesburg.edu); no problems.

Default What a lie

Jon Crossley is a liar. He has sent me numerous emails offering to pay me back. Even saying he has sent money only to wait and wait and nothing ever shows up. Now he is not answering emails and this post is likely from his grandpa trying to help his lying grandson out with a reference. AC is probably Art Crossley, huh grandpa?

This kid is nothing but lies and I have been nice enough and I will file a fraud complaint with the IFCC at the FBI, The attorney general of Pennsylvania and the athletic director and the president of the university.

Don't believe this post. It's a fake.

PFurlong:
Hmmmm....Well, no, I'm not anyone's grandpa actually, and my transaction with Jon Crossley went fine. That said, he was buying a racquet from me (paypal, then I shipped it), so I guess there was no real room for deception in this case. Sounds like you had a different arrangement.
Anyway, sorry to hear of your travails, that's no good at all. However, for the record, my transaction with Jon Crossley (JC) went fine; there was a slight delay in receiving the paypal monies from him, but not a huge deal, and certainly no skin of my nose because I of course didn't ship until I got confirmation.

And no, I'm not related to, sponsored by, or currently being blackmailed by any member of the Crossley clan. Feel free to drop me an email if you'd like, that's no problem. I can understand your concern and frustration (been there), but this was a legit deal and post.
Regards,
AC

My bad. I jumped the gun as Jonathon has finally written back and agreed (again) to pay me for my troubles. I will gladly post my thanks and leave a glowing reference for him.

Hello All,

Sure JC paid. He could not get the frames until he paid. The deal Paul got burned on was a TRADE! Doing a trade requires trust and being a stand-up guy and following thur. Paul... even if he does somehow pay you.. His rep is shot to heck. Have a good one.

PFurlong: Hope he comes through for you this time...being toasted on a deal (of any size) seriously bites. I hope your issue gets settled finally. I just felt the need to respond to your message as I don't need anybody thinking I'm some sort of ghost writer for someone else, especially if a shady deal was involved. Everybody who has had a transaction with me has been satisfied (as far as I know), and I always try to do everything I can to keep it that way.

SteveI: Exactly. The trades put the pressure on both sides to stand up to their responsibility and make things happen as quickly and stress-free as possible (communication, shipping, payment, whatever). As does being the buyer of course...you're putting a lot of trust in the other guy.

JC: If you owe PFurlong in any way, make it right. Duh. Obviously this board means enough to you that you return to it and depend on it in various aspects. Therefore, even if you only take your own interests to heart, you better bend over backward for anybody you've slighted and hope to make things right quickly...not just for fear of possible legal pursuits in things like this (very real nowadays by the way), but also so you can even show your face around here. Not to mention the fact that any dent in on-line transaction trust hurts everyone else here as well. All said...you need to come through, and come through quickly and publicly...not really any wiggle room there at this point.
