Thanks a lot, yeah..don't use any valuable leather things, old leather strips will be fine for just a howto.

No but this summer I'm looking into playing some New York tournaments this summer. I live on the Vermont boarder so its been easier to just play Vermont tournaments even though i can't get ranked.

Why do you play in Eastern Tournaments too??

Default Rubber band vs. other dampeners

How does the rubberband feel when playing and how different is it than other standard dampeners such as the gamma worm.

A rubber band feels really nice, But compared to the gamma worm it doesnt dampen that much vibration. But the rubber band dampens just enough so you don't hear the ping noise anymore.

Regular damp, can't stand the sound of a pinging tennis racquet. Rubberbands just don't cut it for me either. Never had a problem with vibration though.
