Is Costa using the Fischer or is he still using Precision 730(PG2LB)?

That's so weird!?!?!? Fischer has so many good player's frames, and Costa goes with the dud. Maybe they just payed him more to use their newest model. It's a real shame that Fischer is trying to go the way of Babolat with their most recent racquets. It's also really strange that more pros don't play with the Pro No.1 because it's one of the best frames out there; definitely the best one that I've ever played with. But if Costa likes it, well...

It's gotta be a paint job becuas the #1 FT is WAY too light for serious game + he used to use a Prince with enough lead on it to cause cancer

yeah, the Fischer Pro #1 FT does suck doesn't it. But the non-FT version......awesome. Heaps of power from the baseline, heaps of spin, and on kick serves.........OMG! where did that go?

Costa's fischer is most likely a custom one, basically a 730 w/o the cross bar. If you look at a pic of it, it is obviously 28" and a 14x18 pattern and probably either close to being evenly balanced, or head heavy. Liked the thing about the lead and cancer, maybe somewhat true, went to a company who would make a custom frame so he wouldn't be exposed to it anymore

No, he does play with a Pro #1 FT. Though it is specially drilled for the pattern he wants, along with a customizing company lengthens it for him.

To me, that close enough to be called a custom racquet...
