I can't remember exactly... it was 10 years ago. Back 10-12 years ago many of the player rackets were around $120-130. I am prety sure I've got it from TW. Back at that time TW was on the back pages of Tennis Magazine and for me it was the only option of getting it. Then, I sold it maybe around 7-8 years ago. I used to string my rackets tight, so I assume I was stringing it around 65lbs.

Eeee what do you mean? You can buy balls used at the US Open, RG, Australian Open etc. at any good tennis store...
Dunlop Roland Garros French Open (that's the proper full name) ball is now the official French Open ball and it replaced Tecnifibre Roland Garros French Open balls (the current model of this TF ball is Tecnifibre X-One). I think you won't have any problems with buying these balls in the USA... I live in Poland so the info where did I get them is of no use to you... I think... P.S.: There Was a sale on these balls so I bought like 10 cans (4 balls per can) P.S.2: Here's a better photo: ![]() Last edited by Automatix : 12-18-2007 at 08:08 AM. |

Those Roland Garros balls fly too deep for me. They're very heavy, and they seem to have endless momentum if you flatten out your strokes too much, lol.

This is the Quantum Tour 10:
http://web.archive.org/web/200306181...OLKL-Q10T.html This is the Tour 10 Gen 1 MP (it also came in a mid): http://web.archive.org/web/200406060...VOLKL-T10.html Some of the Tour 10 Gen 1s have "Quantum" written on them and some don't. I don't remember if it was the earlier or later versions. It's the same racquet with or without the "Quantum." However, some of the earlier versions of the Tour 10 Gen 1 have "Volkl" written in red while Later models have "Volkl" written in black. The reds are heavier than the blacks. I don't think by too much. Ask Nobadmojo he's the expert. **See 0d1n's and Ericsson's comments below. There is no red - black cosmetic coding on the Gen 1. I was wrong.** Last edited by snoopy : 12-19-2007 at 08:51 AM. |

The rackets are the same...just produced in different years. Quote:
The red/black color you're referring to (I think) is related to the Gen II frame, which had a version with "Mid Plus" written in black and one with "Mid Plus" written in red at the top of the hoop. One of those (the black...as far as I remember) was heavier swinging than the other. |

Od1n is correct, quantum or tour is the the same, also about the black/red midplus, is only on the gen II, the gen 1 was only in red script.
