Default New Ball Storage

Would a case of new tennis balls (Dunlop Grand Prix), last longer stored in a cooler part of the house (basement) vs a warmer spot? (upstairs) Most of my tennis is played between April and October due to weather. Sometimes I will have new balls that carry over to the next tennis season.

Cooler part of the house would be better. The only restriction you'll see if heat.Something to the effect of do not store in 120 degree's or more on the box so I assume cooler is better.

This is theoretical, but if the ball are in pressurized cans and are going to be stored for a long time, I would say keeping them warmer would be better. The warmer the air in the can, the higher the pressure in the can (if it doesn't leak) and the slower the pressure loss of the balls.

With my R/C car the engine has better conbustion in a warmer place.. when its cold... its harder to start... i suggest room temp.. or the warmer area.
