I've searched on the USTA site and do not see a listing of area teams and their contact info? Is there a section where you can check your area and see the various levels and see who is the captain or contact person?

The best way I found was to e-mail the district coordinator (I forget exactly how to find their contact info), and then e-mail the clubs or whatever else they give you. If you know what clubs are around you could just try calling/emailing them, too.

Agree with Dark Horse - Your local coordinator is the easiest way to get started. You can also get a list of captain's from them in your area and attempt to hook up with a team that way.

I would recommend you go to the local tennis center, they could help.

I know the YMCA in Portage has teams, as does West Hills. Try them, the spring/summer season starts in March for West Michigan so you should be able to get on a team pretty easily.

Just wanted to say thanks again for the lead, spoke to a team captain and joined a team here locally.
